Two breeds, one standard.
Atelier Canin began with a career change: Camille Roy, trained in industrial design, traded the drafting table for breeding — without leaving the habits behind. Every litter follows a written protocol, every decision gets documented, every puppy is measured against the same criteria as the one before it.
We breed only two purebred lines, never crossed: the Dalmatian and the German Shorthaired Pointer. Not because other breeds don't appeal to us, but because knowing two lines deeply beats skimming ten. It's a matter of system, not taste.

Health-tested before breeding
Hips, elbows, eyes, heart — and a BAER hearing test for every Dalmatian litter. Results are handed over in full, never just summarized.
Daily socialization, no exceptions
Handling from day three, the same protocol litter after litter: sounds, surfaces, children, other dogs. Nothing is improvised.
Lifelong support
We stay reachable after your puppy goes home. And if you can no longer keep your dog, they return to the studio. Always, no judgment.

From the first question to going home.
You write to us
Tell us about your household: children, other animals, living situation, experience with active dogs. We reply within one to two days, honestly — sometimes to say one of our breeds isn't right for you.
We meet at the studio
A visit by appointment, even before a litter is born. You meet the parents and see the space where the puppies grow up. A breeder who won't allow a visit is telling you something.
Reservation and matching
A $500 deposit confirms your spot on the litter. Puppy-to-family matching happens around week six, based on observed temperament — never on arrival order.
Going home at eight weeks
Your puppy leaves vaccinated, dewormed, microchipped, examined by our veterinarian, with a complete file and a blanket that smells like the litter.
